“WAITING PATIENTLY”

Psalm 40:1

"I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry"

People that know their God and close are close to Him have had different causes to wait upon HIM. King David, Prophet Ezekiel, Abraham, Hannah, Prophet Zachariah etc, waited upon the Lord and the Lord eventually inclined to them and heard their cries.

David had to wait patiently and he got all victories during his life time. Prophet Ezekiel waited to have Divine intervention about the dry bones. Abraham and Prophet Zachariah waited for their Isaac and John respectively and God heard their cries. GOD STILL HEARS OUR CRIES! AMEN. He will hear your own cry today.

The detailed outcome of waiting with patience unto the Lord by King David at this particular time are found in verses 2-4 of the same Chapter 40 of the Book of Psalm. Though not in this devotion, here is the summary. 1) God will bring you out of the horrible situation. 2) HE will bring you out of miry clay. 3) He will set your feet and path on the rock. The rock is JESUS. 4) He will establish what concerns you. 5) God will put a new song into your mouth, and many other wonderful works. Waiting brings patience and patience brings perseverance. Perseverance brings the heart of God nearer and the desire of your heart shall manifest. PRAISE GOD.
