Jeremiah 14:22

Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? Art thou not He, O Lord our God? Therefore, we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things."

“There shall be showers of blessing” is about the promise of God in deep and sure commitment. People waited upon the Lord in the Bible days and they were never disappointed. The waiting time is very challenging and tempting. God’s promises change destiny and brings about new lease of life in Jesus. ETERNAL LIVING POWER.

In our contemporary world people also wait upon the Lord. When you wait with all your heart upon the divine promise maker; The Almighty God, the One that made all things in heaven, earth and under the earth, you will never ever be put to shame.

In all cases, the cloudy sky eventually bring its showers that will remove drought and dryness. It may be cloudy now for someone reading this devotional today, but trust God, there shall soon be the showers of blessing. Between cloud and showers is only a thin line. Remember, Joseph slept as a slave one night in the prison, but woke up the very next morning as a deputy prime minister in a foreign land. God got your back, long time; for the present and future. Do not waiver in the promises of God. They are sure and real. His promises are as good as done for those that can stand and wait upon them. AMEN!!!!!!
