“VISITATION OF PEACE” Final Part: Thursday July 30

Luke 1:78-79 KJV

78) “Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79) To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

God is the exclusive source of mercy and HE uses it to whom He freely wants to reverse the course of judgement. The mercy of God became more in the highlights in the New Testament because of the shedding of the innocent blood of Jesus. Whenever we mention the blood of Jesus the covenant of mercy is always one of the reference points. Without the blood of Jesus mercy may be restricted; but instead it flows with the free gift of grace.

The mercy became so tender because it provoked the entrance of God into covenant with His Son; in which forgiveness of sin is promised and given through the sacrifice at Calvary. The first coming of Christ was a divine visitation to all ; and whosever would receive Him shall be saved.

His visitation was for peace but the world has rejected peace. Without peace things get messed up. Jesus is still the way to peace. The only path to genuine peace. As long as we are in Christ, the light will always shine to reveal and confirm the divine guidance for us. Jesus is the Prince of peace and is coming back to reign and give justice that has been upturned by man. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for guiding my feet into the path of peace, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for keeping my feet away from the shadow of death, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let your light shine and deliver me from every hidden danger in the darkness, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord visit me with thy mercy and let me fulfill my destiny, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, I need your tender mercy to speak for me when I get to any cross road, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, visit me with abundance of thy tender mercy to overrule every guilt in my life, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, I will not be trapped into any shadow of death because you are my guide, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
