“VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD” Part 1 : Thursday April 6

1 John 5:4

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world : and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."

As short as the Bible passage above is, it repeats “overcometh” twice. The overcoming is attached to solely with victory. When you overcome any situation ; victory is forever sure, in Jesus Name.

The victory that comes God can never be turned to defeat. In contrary, the victory according to the world can experience defeat at any point. The world system including everything we can think of ; is broken and the only way to overcome in this world is by having divine victory; whereby God comes into all that concerns you.

We are believers and followers of Christ : qualified for the divine victory that overcometh the world, because the Bible says He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. Let us quote it in full. 1 John 4:4b ……………………………………and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Amen. Stay tuned always to that powerful truth and you shall be over-comers. Hang on to the name of our Lord Jesus and you will never be defeated, in Jesus Name. Praise God.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the miracle of sleeping and to wake up in Jesus Name.

2) Father, thank you for a day like this in your presence, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, forgive all my errors of omission and commission, in Jesus Name.

4) Lord, let me be an overcomer always, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, fill me fully with the power of the Holy Spirit that will always defeat the plans of the devil, in Jesus Name.

6) Lord, turn all my bitter experience of defeat to better experience of victory, in Jesus Name.
