“UNSTOPPABLE GLORY”. Part IX : Tuesday January 14

Hosea 4:7

“As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.”

“1 will change” This is God speaking to the people that sinned because of their increase. God Has power to change anything. The change here is in reverse and the reason is because of their increasing sins. God expected the people not to increase in sin when they are blessed. However, the more blessed the people were the more sin they embraced and God was displeased.

In this case, we can notice that God did not take sin lightly. He turned against the people, because the people turned against Him; who had increased them. God stepped in to stop the sins of the people. He showed them that He was in charge, so, HE reversed what could have been honor to them.

Christians should not be comfortable in and with sins. The Spirit of God in us should not rest whenever we move near sin. God requires prompt repentance from us. He is always ready to pardon our sins and that is why we have Jesus; as our Lord and Savior. Brethren, this is not the time to play Church. It is time for total turn around away from sin and God will continue to increase us, in Jesus Name. Amen.
