“UNLIMITED PASSION FOR JESUS” Final Part” : Wednesday September 28

Mark 14:3

"And being in Bethany in the house of Simeon the leper, as He sat at the meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious ; and she brake the box, and poured it on His head."

This unnamed woman had done what many so called the friends of Jesus could not do. Even from the total story from other accounts from Matthew, Luke and John, Judas led a great indignation against what the woman did; but Jesus stood with the woman. This woman showed extra-ordinary honor and respect to Jesus.

There is always a follow-up blessing for doing what this woman had done. This woman was considered not good by the pharisees and others, but Jesus adjudged what she did as good. As a result, she became a good woman before HIM. Jesus saw the act of the anointing him as great love.

Christ must be honored with all we have. Without HIM, we are nothing and we have nothing. The best alabaster box we can break for Jesus today is our affection towards HIM. Break all your affection; all out for Jesus; that means loving HIM with all our hearts, because He first loved us ; even with HIS own blood and life. Your love cannot be a waste for Christ, because it is waiting to receive you in eternity. Praise God.
