Ezekiel 18:32
"For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, said the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves , and live ye."
The above Bible passage is a divine pronouncement from God to us. We have all sinned, found short of divine standards and been found guilty, but God is seen here extending another miracle of his mercy and divine patience to admonish us Saying “WHEREFORE TURN YOURSELVES”. God is addressing all of us blessed to be reading this today.
Remember, after we transit out from this world; there is judgement for everyone according to his/her ways. God is still very patient to give us time to receive such a call like this unto repentance. Confession is great, but must be followed by repentance. Confess, repent and turn so as to receive the promise of everlasting pardon. Please note that confession without repentance would not appealing to God, and it can minimize the grace of God we enjoy.
From today, there is need for us to be truly sorry for all that we have done against the will of God. Stretch a little bit more to turn away and find the direction of life that Master Jesus Has offered us. Maximize the opportunity of being a child of God. Do not miss the chance of eternal life. Ask God for a brand new Spirit and turn away from the life of sin. Various cultures of the world have accommodated sins and dressed them as if they no longer matter. Sin is an unfair exchange of the Holy Spirit. Sin shortchanges you from receiving total and whole blessings from God. Sin is a reproach as it slows people down in the race of life. Watch out against sin today. STAY ALERT against sin because you are still in the race of life!
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for giving us all another light of the day, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for preserving my life so far, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, build your hedge of protection all around my life and entire family today, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let me and my family receive unforgettable miracles this very month of June, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, send my angels of help to all my ways today, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, every where I go today, let me experience your own showers of blessings, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, remove my life from all appearances of sin, so as to be at peace with you, in Jesus Name. Amen.
