“THERE IS A LIFTING UP”. III : Monday May 23

Job 22: 28-29

"28 Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. - 29 When men are cast down, then thou shall say, There is a lifting up; and he shall save the humble person"

When everything was down for Brother Job, everybody else saw things down for him; even his wife and close friends almost convinced him that God was no more “relevant”. His reputation and indeed character was on the line between yielding to man or God. He (Job) yielded to God, and indeed God lifted him up.

When every one was saying, seeing and living in casting down, Job was saying and seeing “there is a lifting up” with a spirit of humility and he eventually experienced divine lifting. Please note that whatever you say ; you will see and eventually get. From now on shift away from the side of “casting down” to the side of lifting up.

The panacea in almost every Bible passage reflecting divine lifting is HUMILITY. For examples 1) James 4:10 Says “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He shall lift you up” 2) Matthew 18:4 Says ” Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, same is the greatest in the kingdom of God.” 3) Matthew 23:12 “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Brethren, be that humble person today indeed and you will surely be lifted up. Job had the humble character and God saved him from all the affliction and lifted him up. Be the Job of our generation in all that might be affecting you. Whatever level you are, the progress of lifting up and forward is still possible. PRAISE GOD!!!!
