“THE SPIRIT”

1 Thessalonians 5:19

"Quench not the Spirit"

The Bible passage above is one of the shortest, but one of the most powerful. The book of Thessalonians was written in the manner of Paul the Apostle to awaken Christians that want to throw in the towel for one reason of the other. Please let the steam of the Holy Spirit continue. Do not stop having genuine zeal, hope, faith in God. The road to eternity is not as far as such!

In the Old Testament, most of the people of Israel quenched the Spirit at the borders of reaching the final destination of the Promised Land. Prophets Moses and Joshua could not convince them to hold onto the Spirit and they lost out. However, we should hold on to the Holy Spirit of God and to the grace of holiness. In the end, you will never be a loser.

Things may be rough and looking uneasy; one truth to know is that the cry of true believers IS ABLE TO ATTRACT DIVINE INTERVENTION OF JEHOVAH GOD! Only if you do not quench the Spirit. The promises and plans of God are close to you because the Spirit is on fire for JESUS. Do not render evil for evil, but follow what is good and let JESUS be and the Spirit will not be quenched. Praise God!!!!!
