”THE SPIRIT GIVES LIFE”. Part 1 : Friday April 16

John 6:63 NKJV

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.”

The above Bible passage is written in red and that shows that Jesus was speaking to his gathering at that point in time. The passage also relates to the prophetic statements of Jesus pointing to His death, resurrection and life. His assignment when He was physically on earth; was always linked with the SPIRIT. All His works were Spirit driven and filled. That is why no other human being can claim to be the resurrection and the life, except Jesus.

The flesh is corruptible and profits nothing. The flesh is also temporary. It comes from the dust to the earth and eventually returns to the dust. The flesh is able to grab all it could, but end in the earth. It only the spirit that makes it to life eternal and Jesus re assured us over and over. Amen.

As a child of God, it is time to starve and subdue your flesh and feed your spirit. This is the time that the spirit needs your attention to focus on life eternal. Jesus is the answer to life eternal. Embrace the words of Jesus that are rich with life and spirit. There is eternal life and there is eternal hell. The choice has been placed before us again. Let us choose life eternal. Amen.
