“THE KING OF GLORY” Final Part : Friday December 18

Psalms 24:7-8a

7) “Lift up your heads, O ye gates ; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in. 8a) Who is the King of Glory? ............. “

For avoidance of doubts, the King of Glory is our Lord Jesus. HE was born to rule and reign from everlasting to everlasting. His rule shall never end and He will walk with those that allow HIM into their hearts. Amen. The above narrations correspond with the One standing at the door and knocking to come in. The natural thing is to ask who is there at the door? To assure us, the King of glory in this reflection is Jesus. HE is interested in coming into our hearts.

If we shut the gates of our hearts, the gates of heaven may eventually be shut. Why? It amounts to rejection and/or refusal of the King of Glory; who can enter if He wants to. Remember, He owns every heart on earth. He Has the key to every heart under His everlasting government. Praise God.

With the readiness of our hearts, we must throw open the door with expectations. He wants to come into our lives with His power, love, joy and peace. Prepare your heart. Make it pure and allow Jesus to govern your heart all the way to eternity. Use this season to make peace with others, yourself; choose the path of peace with others and ensure there is joy of Jesus all around you to enter the new year 2021. Amen.
