”THE GLORY OF A CHOSEN VESSEL”. Part 1: Thursday January 16

Acts 9:13-15

13) “Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he had done to thy saints at Jerusalem : 14) And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 15) But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way : for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

The above passages are part of the process of the conversion of Saul to become Paul, who encountered God on his usual practice of persecuting Christians. His encounter led to him being captured on his way near Damascus. This man Paul is one that had an unusual experience and revelation of the glory of God.

There is always a counter against a man that carried the glory of God. Ananias dialogued with God and vice verse regarding the chosen vessel. (Paul). The attack was to hinder the glory of this chosen man. Ananias informed God, who knew all things about Paul ; who Pau was. But God responded to guard the glory of Paul from being stopped.

God proved to Ananias that He (God) was in charge not him (Ananias). God had the final say on the glory of Paul and God spoke. Ananias was not only put to shame, God went ahead and upheld the glory of Paul and the rest is history today. Paul excelled in the matter of Kingdom than his glory attacker, because God spoke and when God speaks it is final. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for making me to be the your chosen vessel, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for not allowing my “Ananias“ to have the final say upon my glory, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, as you defended the glory of the chosen vessel, (Paul) defend my glory, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, take my glory higher than the month of my “Ananias”, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, no matter how much my “Ananias” knows about my past, let thy will manifest in my glory, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, like you disappointed the Ananias against Paul’s glory arise and disappoint my “Ananias”, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, put every of my Ananias to shame, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
