Revelations 3:8
"I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door and no man can shut it; for thou hast a little strength , and hast kept my word, and hast not deny my name"
As a reminder, door opens and shuts. There is reason for the door that opens and the door that shuts. It may not be possible for us to know the full reasons why God decides to open some doors and shut some. As human beings, we open the door and shut the door for so many reasons and it is so with GOD ALMIGHTY!
What we do not like ; we normally shut the door against and open the door to what we like. Some times we open the door for what looks good to our eyes to enter and shuts the door for what looks bad to our eyes not to enter. This simply means opening the right door to wrong things and shutting it to right things.
Opening and shutting the door may be related to taking critical decisions in life. God knows all the details of or world ; knowing fully well how weak and vulnerable we are, when it comes to taking the decisions. It is important to be persistent in payers in the door we open and the door we shut. Christians have opened the door and shut the door to with it’s attendant results. There is nothing too difficult for God to redeem. The blood JESUS shed on the cross at Calvary is for our redemption. In any particular situation, you can be redeemed. Close your eyes in meditation and behold HIS blood and the door of Redemption. On the cross, behold our Lord Jesus; there was the door of Redemption introduced by opening HIS hands to welcome as many as would perceive the door and come to receive the power of Redemption. HE IS THE ONLY DOOR. AMEN.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, my Father, thank you for the grace and mercy we enjoy everyday, in Jesus Name. Amen.
2) Father, my Lord, thank you for all the doors you have opened to me and my family in Jesus Name. Amen
3) Lord, shut any door that will not glorify your name in my life, in Jesus Name, Amen.
4) Lord, open the door that will glorify your name in Jesus Name. Amen. Amen
5) Father, give me the utterance and wisdom to know the right door to enter in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen
6) Lord, shut down every door of failure and disgrace in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
7) Lord, as this year is marching on progressively, let my life, move to the next level of progress in Jesus Name. Amen.
