“THE COLT, THE OWNERS AND THE LORD” Part II: Thursday April 9

Luke 19: 33-34 NKJV

“But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?”
34) And they said, “The Lord Has need of him.”

This part will go deeper into the life of the colt , hitherto the season of triumphant entry. The colt also has life. First of all, it was the season of the triumphant entry that its time of freedom and more recognition came. The colt was tied down under the control of the owners ; probably waiting for the next worst round of his life, because of more than one owner. The Bible informs us of its owners; who had powers to use the colt at will.

No doubt, the life of the colt was difficult and may be facing the tasks of serving and having to satisfy more than one owner: who can use it any how until they were pleased. After every use, the colt would definitely go back to be tied down. However, the season of Palm Sunday week made a difference in the life of the colt. A time of freedom and high calling of recognition by Jesus. This season will make difference in our lives, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Jesus noticed the colt and sent for it to be used to ride into Jerusalem. The colt became free and left to be freed for ever, thereafter. The touch and use of Jesus made it free. No other authority can order the colt’s freedom from its owners, without serious consequences of the law except Jesus. The power of the resurrection and the life impacted the life of the colt. Such power can make a difference in your life as well. Amen.

3) Lord, loose me from the hook of every day of darkness and wickedness, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, empower my spirit, soul and body to stand and rise against everything and anything that will tie me down, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, by the power of the resurrection and the life, loose me and set me free, in Jesus Name.
