“THE COLT, THE OWNERS AND THE LORD” Part 1: Thursday April 1

Luke 19: 33-34 NKJV

“But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?”
34) And they said, “The Lord Has need of him.”

Apart from all others, the colt, the owners and the Lord were significant in the process of the triumphant entry which started on the first Palm Sunday. The Lord Jesus who is the Resurrection and the Life; Jesus our Savior ; The Principal of Palm Sunday was about to embark on a journey that would take HIM to die first and then resurrected into eternal life.

The Apostles did not understand fully why Jesus was going on that journey, because of all the questions they asked Jesus in the process. The crowd that followed with casting their garments upon the colt for Jesus to ride; did not understand as well. As Jesus was on the journey, so we are on the journey.

In every area of our lives there is always the three components of the triumphant entry into Jerusalem as earlier stated. However, we cannot be the Lord, but can be the colt or the owners. The question today is are you the colt or the owners? Which ever one, there is the Lord over the colt and the owners. This Lord is the Resurrection and the Life. He went to the cross and eventually crossed all the hurdles of darkness into the right hand side of the Almighty God. He defeated the power of death by the power of resurrection. Amen. Please stay tuned on the highlights. The colt, owners and The Lord.
