“THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’s”. Part 1 : Wednesday June 26

1 Samuel 17:47

"And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with the sword and spear : for the battle is the Lord's and He will give you into our hands."

If the battle is the Lord then the simple equation is that the victory is the Lord’s. When God gives victory no matter the nature of the battle, it will be permanent and complete. God fights our battles with spiritual weapons and not with the physical swords and spears. This is an extension that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God. Amen.

No matter how strong and fully armed the enemy army could be; when God steps onto the battle field of life, the enemy must bow to the fire power of the spiritual weapons. Before the battle started, David put his faith on the line and said Hey, Goliath! this is not my battle. In the physical, David could not withstand the enemy in Goliath, but God stood in front of David and Goliath could not discern the presence of God on the battle field.

The presence of God, was the difference between the victory for David and the defeat of Goliath. The stand that the battle is of the Lord was the basis of divine victory in all the battles David encountered. You can also take a stand that whatever battle that might come my/your way is of the Lord and victory shall also come from the Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen. The upfront declaration of faith by David was the key to victory. Arise and confront with such faith like David’s and expect your unfailing victory. Amen.
