“THE ANGEL OF THE LORD”. Part 1 : Friday December 18

Matthew 1: 20 & 24

20 "But while he thought of these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream , saying, Joseph, thou Son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 24 - Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him : his wife"

At the point of taking decision against Mary, Joseph received an angelic visitation of his life. It was a divine intervention and visitation that resulted in the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The process and the methodology involved were accomplishment of divine promise from the Almighty God.

Joseph was a just man and Mary a favored woman. The angel of the Lord appeared to Mary about the good tiding of the birth of Jesus and then to Joseph in his dream. The two of them yielded to divine visitation

Regarding Joseph and Mary – their own Christmas started with divine visitation and eventual submission to the plan and purpose of God. Both of them had sentimental challenges they never prepared for in life, but God prevailed as they subordinated their own interest behind God’s interest. Let God be on top of your priority list of to do this season. Yield to God’s message and He will ensure that you will not be put to shame at last. AMEN!
