Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"
The Bible passage above is pretty straight forward saying that we should seek the first things first; which are The kingdom of God and His righteousness. However, our wants and needs are many and the flesh will want us to focus our attention on those needs, but we are admonished to seek what represent the mind of God first and the blessing will follow us.
Seeking first the kingdom of God is an assurance of kingdom blessing. As long as the kingdom is not broken, the one that seeks it first shall be connected to the power of the kingdom. As a representative/ambassador of the kingdom there is an extension of the power of the kingdom for you. The authority of the kingdom will cover you and you have access to the kingdom without restrictions. The good example is a nation’s ambassador that is representing his/her home country in a foreign land must have access to all the benefits of his country far away.
Seeking God first is a matter of mind set. Let your mind be consecrated towards divine purpose of God as priority. God knows that we all have wants and needs of many things, but God is not slack to meet all other things of life. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. (Psalms 50:10).
He made all things in heaven and earth for our purpose. All we need is access but we must seek God first. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for giving me the grace to seek you first, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for leading me to the path of the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, thank you for showing me your righteousness for the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let me enter the kingdom with your type of righteousness, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, I need your daily righteousness to live my kingdom life, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, release the kingdom blessing unto me and family, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, all I need is your kingdom blessing that last for ever, in Jesus Name. Amen.
