“SACRIFICE OF PRAISE” Part 1: November 18

Hebrews 13:15-16

"By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His Name - 16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased"

Thanksgiving is a kind of sacrifice. Not only necessary to man when he blesses you, but unto God for all things. Small or big. The bolded part of the verses indicate that there are some thanksgiving sacrifices that God is well pleased and some that HE is not well pleased.

The primary sacrifice is self. When we truly give ourselves to Christ ; all other givings will become easy. Giving ourselves to HIM unconditionally, serving God unconditionally and doing the will of God are well pleasing to God.

God expects our sacrifice to include our action and performance in things of eternal values. Invest in spiritual things and you will harvest in the spiritual. Material things fade away with this wicked world. They have no legacy with God. We are still in the season of national thanksgiving; please ensure that you touch the life of someone in a way that it will be well pleasing to God. PRAISE GOD with the fruit of your lips today. AMEN.
