“RUTH – THY GOD MY GOD”

Ruth 1: 16

"Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for wither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people and thy God my God."

The life of Ruth showed the highest level of passion for loving people unconditionally. One can safely say that the love for her departed husband transcended to the love for her mother – in – law. Ruth was a symbol of genuine love. She not only spoke love for her mother – in – law, (Naomi) she demonstrated it.

No one can suggest another reason motivated Ruth to go with Naomi other than unconditional love. There was no record of any inheritance of wealth in the family that Ruth could have inherited. She just had passion and strong love for people, especially Naomi.

Ruth’s patience and deep love for people resulted in great reward for her. The reward is so much that she became the great grandmother of David, the root of Jesse and the lineage of Jesus Christ. The main lesson today is to love without conditions. The future would determine the best for all genuine lovers. Ruth gave herself away in love and God repackaged and transformed her live. God is still the same. Let your love be without hidden agendas. Let God who is Love take over your love plans and life.

You are never a failure, no matter how the circumstances present themselves? God Has created you for a purpose. Always remember that your being is not by mistake. It is a reality. PRAISE GOD!

• 4) Lord, let me enter into my overflow of favor before the end of this year, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Father, visit me with overflowing favors this year, in Jesus Name.
• 6) Almighty God, arise and make a way for the body of Christ this year, in Jesus Name.
• 7) Father, let your power of unconditional love keep me and my household away from evil permanently, in Jesus Name. Amen.
