“RECEIVING DIVINE FAVOR” – Part III

Genesis 39:21

"But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison"

Joseph was born into an uncommon family. He had uncommon brothers. He was sold in an uncommon circumstances. He was put into an uncommon prison. He became an uncommon inmate. He received uncommon gift of dreams. Eventually, in an uncommon situation; he became a deputy in charge of a whole nation.

The Bible describes in Genesis 39:6 (Please read when time permits) the extent of divine favor released upon the life of Joseph by God. Amongst all his brothers, uncommon favor answered for him day in day out all of his life from the beginning of his life to the end.

Do not lose hope ; the little mercies you receive here and there is a sign that favor is on your ways. God showed mercy to Joseph before the big favor. Receiving mercy will eventually bring you into the the favor of God and man. Suffering is not the end of life, it is the beginning for those that can endure. Jesus endure the sufferings on the cross and HIS name was highly exalted and favored. The antidote of success is suffering. God is not unaware of the situation ; as bad as it may look. Job prayed for favor and you can pray for favor to answer for you. We are serving the God of all favor, grace and mercy. He is too faithful to fail. HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU, in Jesus Name. Amen.
