“REAPING IN JOY” Part 1 : Thursday December 12

Psalms 126:5

“They that sow in tears shall reap in Joy.”

To sow has a lot of things to do and it will take toll of planning, strategies followed by some cares and fear of the unknown about the time to reap and what will be the quantity and quality of the harvest.; and indeed about the general success of the labor. There will be a lot of tilling and frequent visits to water the sowing. The sower may want the harvest and make foods for the family or be turn the harvest to sales and bring wealth to the family.

However, before reaping can take place, the seed is committed to the ground; where there is a time the seed be alone in the ground dead and buried. In the interlude, the weather changes and cold sets in because of winter and more doubt about harvest comes in and then the hope of harvest seems dim and lost.

As the season progresses, a time of spring sets in and the world of nature begins to revive that which was in the dark place and the fields begin to show signs of harvest and when the weather progresses again, sunshine will bring life to the sowing and the sower will cheerfully harvest. Your sowing time of pains is worth all it takes because there is joy to follow, in Jesus Name. Amen.
