Romans 6:5

"For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection."

To be planted together is the truth that we are the heirs of the Father with Jesus. Our identity in Jesus should not be hidden by the reason of having been planted together with Him. What does this “planted together” mean to us as Christians? It should bring bundle of joy to us, because whatever Jesus had we too can have; even much more than He had, because Jesus assured is of greater works.

As Christians, we must always be prepared to surrender as Jesus did. Jesus surrendered all in Him, because of the Father. For if truly, we have been planted together with Him, we should identify ourselves with His sufferings, His service, His love, His passion, His death and indeed His resurrection.

Jesus came to do what nobody can do for us. Even, while we were yet in the world as sinners, God commended His only begotten Son; unto our wicked world to show us the way, the truth and the life. We also must show the way, the truth and the way to many others still in this our world of darkness, because we have been planted together with Him. We must be different in all our living styles. We still remain on this side of eternity for some reasons. Spread the good news and touch the hearts of people as Jesus did. Spread the Word of life. Amen.
