“OUR LORD, OUR GOD TO HELP US”

2 Chronicles 32: 8

"With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah."

By the special grace of God, the month of November 2014 is our month of double portion. The double portion will come because “the Lord our God to help us” is ever present. With the arm of flesh there is the normal portion, but when God is involved, the portion shall be double. By our strength alone, the arm of flesh shall not prevail in double portion.

Every one created by God has his/ her portion, especially when you can stand on the  promises God has for His people and for His children. God does not forget any of His promises. God will help us and fight the numerous battles of life that are both seen and unseen.

Today, begin to learn and start to do your best and do not rely on the arm of flesh that can fail any moment. Seek God more than you seek for assistance from men. Men may want to help, but the help may fail or not prevail. What and in who do you rely on these days, the arm of flesh or the invisible power of God? The choice is yours, make it today. GOD IS FOREVER GOD and man will forever be man.

Prayer points for the day

1) Lord, arise and double my portion of favor from all angles, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, help me in all the areas of my need, in Jesus Mighty Name.
3) Lord, you are my only portion in the land of the living; do not let me be ashamed, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, help me to fight all my battles seen and unseen, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, release my double portion to me this month, in Jesus Name.
