“OBTAINING HELP FROM GOD” – Part II

Acts 26:22

"Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come"

Help is receiving assistance towards accomplishments in life. However, we look for help in all the wrong direction. Paul the Apostle, like King David knew how to look in the right direction for help. Actually, in life, all of us need help regarding one thing or the other. If we do not need help in the area of our finances, we need help in the area of our family, etc.

Man is limited in all things. Looking unto man is looking for help in the wrong direction. God would not come down to help us, but He Has arranged help for us all the way. There is nothing done without the help of God. Whenever you receive help from man; God is the planner behind it. Man is limited in all things. Man may really will to help you, but may not have the means and man may have the means, but not willing to help.

Whenever God gives you any vision, He makes help with the provision. God is always willing to help; He controls the resources of those that help you. You can seek God repeatedly to receive help; but you cannot continually receive help from man. Paul received help from God at the right timing and so he was able to accomplish his purpose. He was able to continue despite the hard times ahead because of the help that he obtained from God. God is ever ready to help us. He earned the help of God, because God saw his readiness to do exploits despite his past. Your past should not determine your present standing with God. Forget the past and be determined for Christ. Help will come to accomplish your exploits, in Jesus Name. Amen.
