“O LORD…REMEMBER MERCY” – Part I

Habakkuk 3:2

"O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy"

What is going on around in our world, societies, communities and indeed homes urgently call for God’s mercy. Our world is drifting in darkness despite the light of Jesus, but we know for sure that however darkness may prevail, it cannot overshadow the power of light. Jesus has come to rescue those that seek HIM for revival.

God has given us His only begotten Son (JESUS) to remind God of His promise for mercy even in wrath: and whenever God remembers Jesus and us; mercy is always released. As long as His Glory covers the heaven and the earth is still full of His praise, there is still some measure of mercy for us somewhere.

How do we enter into HIS mercy? Seek to hear HIS speech and word. God speaks in all that are happening around us, He speaks in and by all the elements we can see – the fire, water, wind, tornado, snow  etc. if only we can take some time to pay attention to those elements. Can we not see the hidden power of God in them or discern some hidden action of our Lord? These days, there is need to pray beyond the basics. We need to cry unto God, because the whole universe is overwhelmed. Prophet Habakkuk prayed on behalf of the people of Judah and God spoke in signs. Brethren, God is still speaking today.

We are the Elijah’s of God and God of Elijah is waiting to answer us speedily; only if we can pray O Lord! O Lord!! O Lord!!! Revive thy works in the midst of our generation, in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
