Psalms 98:1

"O sing unto the LORD a new song ; for He hath done marvelous things; his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory."
NLT version
"Sing a new song for HE Has done wonderful deeds. His right hand Has won a mighty victory; His Holy arm Has shown His saving power!"

From the Old Testament days, It was always a pleasure to sing a new song unto the Lord. A song of praise and thanks for all HIS mighty and wonderful wondrous works done. Singing a new song to God always make God to incline to us faster than prayers. God keeps heaven open all the time praise and thanks come up to Him.

Praying is good and has its own impact with heavens but not as singing praises and giving gratitude and glory to God. Our prayers need angelic intervention at times to be heard in heaven but unlike praises, God supernaturally intervenes directly.

Thanksgiving songs make God to show up in every situation of life, only if we can just sing to glorify HIS name. Singing a new song unto the Lord anytime, whether you are on the mountain top of life or in the valley of life. Your praises in the valley can lift you up to the mountain top while it can sustain you on the mountain top. Amen.
