Rev. 2:4
"Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love"
God is love and love is God. His love is never failing. He Loves us with everlasting love. His love overflows from generation to generation. To sustain the love as God wants us; we must remember the first love as undiluted.
The first love is always strong even in the physical. However, as time goes on it fades out due to extra conditions appearing on the stage of life. This is the situation with Christians working so hard, believing God so well still there is small amount of love that flows through them to the world.
God is against love that does not flow and overflow. Be a vesssel and not a container of love.
Let love be on the move. Live and let others live the love of God. HE wants to make us instruments that carry His love through the banner of Jesus Christ all over the world. Be the kind of love that God would send out to the unloving world. Let us uphold our first love and launch into the world at large with the power of love.
Prayer points for the day
1) Lord, thank you for the new light of the day, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the provision and protection of the season, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let this month answer for my blessing, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let my hope manifest for good this very month, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, help me to uphold my first love, in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, favor me and lift me higher up this month, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, every ground I walk through this month must yield her increase to me, in Jesus Name. Amen.
