LOVE EXTRAORDINARY” Final Part : Thursday February 28

Luke 15:20

"And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him"

Brethren, the last of this series is about the father “Fell on his neck, and kissed him.”

The narrative in quotes is between the Father and the son. The son returned home in his filthiness. Probably stinking and smelling. Not looking sonly, having gone into self slavery in a far countryside. The son had on his own dropped off his own right of sonship. At best, he wanted to be an employee of the father, but the father restored him beyond his brokenness.

The father had the heart of God. He was glad to have the son back home as he was. Dirty, tired, in rags having come a long way back home. Many like that never found their ways home back. They either get stock, lost or dead in their own ways; but for the Lord who intervened in the prodigal son’s case.

The conclusion of the matter is that the father’s love was greater than what the son had done. Our love should continue without any offenses standing in between us and those that need love. Give someone a hug, however dirty they may look or appear. Let love clean up the mess presented. Show the love. Prove the love and never expect the same level of love you show to others. Amen.
