“LORD HELP ME”

Matthew 15:25

"Then came she and worshipped Him, saying Lord help me."

The she in the above Bible passage was the Syrophoenician woman who travelled all the way seeking for help regarding her sick daughter. Thank God, there was no police or security guards around Jesus to whisk her away; she continued with her demands for help.

In the penultimate passages, she engaged Jesus and the apostles in her pains for help. She kept on pressing for what she wanted. She refused to be distracted even when she was compared to a dog in verse 26 when she asked for help “But He answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and cast it to dogs.” This woman knew that any expression of bread from the mouth of Jesus meant a lot. She settled for the crumbs even on the floor!

Brethren, the crumbs of miraculous help may be what you need in that situation. Settle for the crumbs like the woman who seemed not to qualify for the real bread. She humbly would take crumbs, but eventually, she got the real miracle out of Jesus. Humble yourselves for the crumbs. There is possibility that the crumbs would perform wonders. Jesus is not a man that would deny any one that comes seeking Him for help. Jesus is real. Seek Him in earnest today and you will never be disappointed. Let him carry the remaining burden. He is our burden bearer. The cross did not crunch Him, therefore your own cross will not crash on you. Praise HIM!
