“LACKING IN YOUR FAITH” – Part I

1 Thessalonians 3:10

"Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

Whenever we pray to God, we seek His face for something that needs HIS direct attention; rather than the attention of man. According to the above epistle of Paul, the attention of God is always secured in a place of exceeding prayer day and night.

Jesus, our example, prayed exceedingly day and night and God gave Him personal attention. The Apostle of old; prayed exceedingly day and night after the order of Jesus and they received power of the Holy Spirit. To pray exceedingly day and night has become difficult in today’s Christianity – is something lacking in our faith?

We operate by what we see all the time. In good times, we are good Christians and in other times because something is lacking in our faith, we think that God has run out of His mercy, love, power and favor. God does not run His divine affairs like man. Heaven is full of the blessings of God ready to be released for us. What is lacking in your faith that you think God is not able? Have the right attitude from today towards God. HE is forever for you, and His loving kindness and mercy never run out. It is my prayer that we all make heaven together to ask King David and Prophet Moses how they walked and worked with God? They never lacked in faith!

Prayer points for the day

1) Lord, thank you for the revelation of today regarding my faith, in Jesus Name.

2) Father, thank you for preserving me yet for another beautiful day, in your presence, in Jesus Name.

3) Father, thank you for your mercy, love power, grace, glory, etc that would never run out on me and my family, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, thank you for the month of May 2015 for all you have done to keep me alive, in Jesus Name.

5) Almighty God, whatever is causing my faith to shake, let them be shaken off my life, in Jesus Name.

6) Almighty God, arise this day and perfect all that concerns my entire household, in Jesus Name.

7) Lord, rescue me and my household from every spirit of fear of tomorrow, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
