“KEEPING MERCY FOR THOUSANDS” Final Part : Thursday July 27

Exodus 34:7

"Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation."

God is a covenant keeper. He does not break HIS covenant at all with us. He settles His own part of the covenant and HE expects us to settle our part as well. As a result, in keeping mercy for as many as thousands is real. His Keeps His mercies for ever because they endure for ever, but His wrath and anger do not last long. Hey! WHAT A MERCIFUL GOD WE HAVE!!!!!!!

God’s springs of mercy are always full and the streams of His mercy always overflowing. There is mercy inexhaustible for all. Sufficient for thousands for His people in Israel, despite their rebellious attitude towards God. He never withdrawn His mercy from His people, He will never withdraw it from us. Forgiving mercy is to look into our eyes and draw us back home to Himself. Still our God is a just God, who never rules out punishment when we sin. ” He will by no means clear the guilty.” Behold, God Has given us mercy before judgement!!!!!

Mercy has different shapes it works with. It can pardon the most hardened criminal Saul and changed his name to Paul, by pardoning mercy. God’s nature is merciful and ever ready to show mercy to whosoever that can re examine himself/ herself. God does not act in the extremes like man/woman without making a way out for remedy. Hang on to the covenant of God and He would show His mercy for you, in Jesus Name. Amen!
