“JOY OF VICTORY AHEAD”. Part 1 : Wednesday May 1

Hebrews 12:2

"Looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

One of the big issues of life is Victory. It is opposite of defeat and it means different things to different people. Every one of us aspires and indeed wants to be victorious in life. Some assumes and some do work hard in life to secure victory and success in everything they do. Victory is not automatic. It has issues attached to it. Many things happen in life to either accelerate or slow down victory in life.

Victory to soccer lovers is defeating the opponents. Victory to students is obtaining success in their academic pursuits. All the humiliation, persecution, agitation, shame and reproach etc Jesus passed through were used to give Jesus the Name that is above all names and in victorious joy. All of those things were used to take our Lord Jesus Christ to the place of victory.

Jesus succumbed and surrendered to the the will of God and not to the low level of the agitators throughout His life time and was able to walk through it all; and in all of those things in victory which looked like defeat to the unbelievers. Do your best in all things without assumptions and surrender the outcome to God and you shall be victorious, in Jesus Name. Amen.
