Psalms 36:9
"For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light"
The Psalmist is confirming to us the source of life. Every fountain always has a source, and what comes out of it depends on the reliability of the source. If there is anything that may wrong with the fountain; please check the source. The fountain of life from God is always flowing.
Basically the fountain of our lives is Jesus through the Almighty Father God, who made the heaven and earth to be beautiful for every season and situation. He has given us life through His own source. Nothing more can be the source of the fountain of life but JESUS. God has the final say, NOT the troubles going on around you. Look unto Jesus the Author and the Finisher of your faith. He paid it all for us to live!
The Bible says in John 1:4 that “In him was life; and the life was the light of men” Any one not in Jesus and Jesus not in him cannot see the kind of his light and live the kind of His life. In the light, there is no frustration, because solution though at times hidden is ever present in Jesus, even in the midst of the troubles. John 16:33 settles it. In all things Jesus has overcome and He is the life and light. He is the path and door to eternity. He holds the truth about the whole world. To be able to end well, it is necessary to see and walk in the path of the light; He has come to lead and show us. It is not sufficient to only be in the church, we must learn of Jesus. Be like Jesus and surrender all to be able to see the light in His light! Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for holding my life in thy light, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, let me continue to operate under the guidance of thy light, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, I am tired of darkness, remove my life from every source of darkness and place me in your marvelous light, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, teach me and let me be learnt of Jesus, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, thank you for letting me see light in thy light, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let your mercy and grace see me through to eternity, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, this is month seven of this year, advance my life according to your plans and purposes, in Jesus Name. Amen.
