“I WILL REJOICE”- UNCONDITIONAL THANKSGIVING” Part 1 : Friday November 25

Habakkuk 3:17-19

17) "Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruits be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock from the fold, and there shall be no herb in the stalls; 18) Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19) The Lord God is my strength , and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

The above passages reflect so strong in my heart about believers going through rough seasons. They also reveal that God is not unaware of every situation we go through. If God Puts us in it, that means HE is in it and would get us through it, and out of whatever rough seasons. He is God all the time and everywhere.

With all the above situations, where the people of God faced near to zero conditions, the prophet resolved to rejoice because he brought God into them and rejoiced. For sure, not many of the people will follow the prophet to rejoice, because they did not really know the God they claimed to know.

In other words, prophet was telling God that all those things not available belonged to God anyways. Remember, what Jesus did to the fig trees? God is in control not the prophet. God is the owner of the trees, herbs, flocks, olive trees, etc. let God deal with them the way HE wanted. He puts God first and counted on HIM for resolution and God did. Praise God. In all things, please let us learn and strive to count on God. He never failed and will not start failure with you and me, in Jesus Name. Amen.
