HE SHALL LIFT YOU UP”. Part III : Wednesday May 11

James 4:10

"Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and HE shall lift you up"

One of the conditions to be a honor roll in heaven is to be high in the spirit of humility here on earth. You can score high marks with God and man when you are humble. Matthew 23:12 references the import of humility to Christians. It Says “And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased ; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” Take this scripture into heart and let it be a daily guide as a reader of this devotional, follower of the gospel of Christ and believer in the word of God. AMEN.

True and penitent humility before God brings pleasure to God to consider us for divine lifting. God is the lifter of our spirit, soul and body from troubles. God always lifts up HIS people into divine comfort out of trouble. Prophet Isaiah concurred with the fact that God always revives the spirit of the humble.

It is profitable to be humble. If you are humble you will also have contrite heart and God blesses those with such hearts. How is your heart with God? Humble or not? Pray to Him for the grace and garment of humility. Please note that before any honor can be conferred upon you in the spiritual realm, there is need for HUMILITY.

Prayer points for the day
