Matthew 28:5-6

"And the angel answered and said unto the women , "Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. - He is not here: for He is risen, Come, see the place where the Lord lay"

Praise God for we are favored to be alive to witness one of the greatest events in the Christian world. Jesus went to the cross to remove all that is not wanted in our lives ; such as sin shame, failure, poverty, sickness, lack, barrenness, dryness, affliction, pain, etc. Jesus went to the cross so that we would be free according to the word of God in John 8:36.

The cross revealed the seriousness of our sin and the determination of God to make us free. People that witnessed the crucification would be very happy to witness His resurrection, especially the women. They are the ones that would appreciate most the works and the words of the cross.

As Christians, we should not continue in any ways that would nail Jesus to the cross again. He had paid it all once and for all on Calvary at the place of skull. He took the nails that should have been used to nail us for our sins, He took the spear off from our sides. We should continuously honor HIm; because there is no one yet that could die for us. He is alive for ever. Happy resurrection Monday. Let us seek Jesus with our whole heart, because He is coming back for those that seek HIM in truth and in Spirit. AMEN.
