“HE HUMBLED HIMSELF – AND GOD HIGHLY EXALTED HIM” Part IV : Thursday May 5

Philippians 2: 7-10

7 "But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.
8 - And being found in the fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death on the cross.
9- Wherefore God Hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name.
10- That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;"

Humility is one of the vital and fundamental factors to receiving God’s divine lifting. When God lifts you up no one can bring you down. Our greatest example of humility is Jesus Christ and there is no controversy today about HIS pure and undiluted humility. PRAISE GOD.

We still have some people that have the natural attribute of humility while some cultivate the attribute by learning and controlling their emotions. Such people are alert in the Spiritual things, hence, they are able to contain and control many things in the physical realm. The question this morning is how do you respond to issues of life in respect of your status in life? With pride or humility? Psalm 146:6 Says ” The Lord lifted up the meek : He casteth the wicked down to the ground.”

Any one that is proud also have the tendencies to be wicked in many things. Set aside your pride, because it goes before destruction. God is watching our ways of life. He wants us to humble ourselves naturally. Jesus was incredibly humble with all the power God Has given to HIM. Humility pays. You lose nothing by being humble. Instead you gain more from God and man. Humility helps to sustain current status and enhances chances for further upliftment.

Prayer points for the day

2) Father, I plead for mercy for whatever sins that can hinder my answered prayers, in Jesus Name.

3) Father, I plead the blood of Jesus concerning every department of my life, in Jesus Name.

4) Father, let every protocol and regulations be suspended for my divine upliftment this season, in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, against all principalities and power, lead me to a ROCK higher than I, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, let me scale over whatever may represent “a troop” in my life, in Jesus Name.

7) Lord, arise for me and lift me beyond my imagination, in Jesus Name. Amen.
