”GREATER LOVE”. Part 1: Monday February 10

John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends”

Greater love is the mother of all love; and even be greatest. It is a type of selfless love that puts others first in all things. Greater love is bigger that any emotions and affections. Greater love carries power that can go extra miles. Greater love is loving the unloveable in all circumstances, because that is exactly what Jesus did while He was here on earth.

It is this greater love that makes the difference in the life of Jesus, Christianity ; and other religious leaders and followers. Instead of the leaders of other religions laying down their lives, they lay down the lives of their followers. The exact opposite of what Jesus did. Jesus Has assignment from the Father for mankind and it was the assignment that took Him to the cross. He died in the flesh so that we can live. Amen.

Brethren, we need to die to ourselves in other to have greater love. Let us not allow flesh to take over the power of greater love. We should strive hard to love Jesus ways and demonstrate the nature of Jesus always. Greater love will lead us to greater works and blessings of the Lord. Amen.
