“GRACE IN THY SIGHT” – Part III

1 Samuel 1:18

"And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad"

For the woman under reference; Hannah, Shiloh became her land of Grace. She had the grace not to recriminate and it became a blessing of vindication for her. She had the understanding and awareness of how the God of all Grace can reverse the irreversible. She received a blessing that did not leave her life for ever. Hannah gave a just and true account of herself and she could not but find grace in the sight of the grace giver.

Be encouraged in your devotion like Hannah; despite the circumstances you may find yourselves. She was discountenanced from unexpected sources during a special Shiloh, but the bottom line was that she received her blessing and the God of Israel granted her petition.

Hannah was one of the women in the Bible days that showed pure humility and meekness in her approach towards reproach. She found purpose for her life in the presence of God ; despite the unexpected and unpleasant censures. She left Shiloh with great satisfaction of purpose and destiny. She turned abuses to prayers and the Bible says “and her countenance was no more sad” . There are many lessons to learn by every Christian; not only the women, but men; including children; from the right attitude of Hannah and I believe that she was able to provoke the power of God to grant her petition. Praise God.!!!!!!!
