“GOD OF ALL COMFORT”

2 Corinthians 1:3

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and God of all comfort"

Comfort is one of the greatest things that man/woman look for these days. Unfortunately, people seek for comfort in many wrong places and things. Paul the Apostle was convinced that there is no comfort in his earthly popularity after his encounter with Jesus. It was the encounter that opened his eyes to the source of real comfort.

Indeed comfort is a blessing. No wonder, Paul started the passage by blessing the Name of God. King David always blessed God in and out of season; and God was with him throughout his life. For mercy and grace in abundance, let the praising of God be part of your normal life.

Blessing God in all things can provoke more blessings from God. It shows that you reference Him both in small and big things. The devil has counterfeit of everything. There is real and there is counterfeit comfort. I want to say this morning that the real comfort is from God and it will never add any sorrow. Seek comfort by all means from the divine source of God. When God gives comfort, He sends helper to strengthen you in all things. How do we perceive and believe in the truth of the presence of the COMFORTER?

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the life in me today, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, let me have an encounter that would result in permanent comfort, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, thank you for this month, let my joy be full in Jesus Name.

4) Father, let all sources of my sorrow dry away and let me begin to experience abundant divine comfort, in Jesus Name Amen.

5) Father, you are the God of all my comfort, release comfort into all the areas of my life, in Jesus Name.

6) Almighty God, I need comfort in all things that I touch, in Jesus Name.

7) Father, every one that may be sick in any form or the order, send the wind of comfort to them, in Jesus Name.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
