2 Kings 5:10 & 13
"And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shall be clean." 13 - "And his servant came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, woudest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash and be clean."
Prophet Elisha sent a message to Naaman, a Syrian captain who needed healing to remove the “but” of his life for ever. The “but of his life was leprosy. The only thing he must do was to go to the less popular river Jordan to experience the healing power of God. (What a divine encounter)
All Naaman needed was a divine encounter that was divinely scheduled and waiting for him at river Jordan. God was waiting for him there and not in other well known rivers in Abana, Pharpar and Damascus. He nearly missed his personal encounter for miracle because he put up reasons why he should not be seen in river Jordan: why? it was not as better as the other rivers.
A divine encounter is not what others can undertake for any one. It is always personal a experience. However, uncomfortable the process might be, as long as it is divine there will be a miracle. Also, it may be a small process with a huge outcome. What is the “but” in your life or is there any “but” concerning you? All you need is a divine encounter that will delete the shame that comes with the “but” in your life. As we cross over to the new month in a couple of hours, may you have a personal experience with God for a miracle, in Jesus Name. Do not despise any encounter that has to do with God. Be expectant and you will fulfill destiny, in Jesus Name. Amen. Naaman fulfilled his destiny because of an encounter of river Jordan. PRAISE GOD!!!!!
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for sparing my life and family to witness the glorious end of October, 2016, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you in advance for another opportunity to witness the new month of November, in Jesus Name.
3) Almighty God, thank you for the cleansing of my spirit, soul and body, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, thank you for counting me worthy for a life changing divine encounter, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, give me and my family an outstanding divine encounter that would advertise your Glory and Name in my my generation, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, do not allow the devil to manipulate or paralyze my destiny, in Jesus Name. Amen.
7) Father, whatever represent “but” in my life must have an encounter with your power of victory, in Jesus Name. Amen.
