Psalms 103:2

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all HIS benefits."

To give thanks to God is a thing that must come out from our soul. Ordinarily, people give thanks from mouth, but the Psalmist is admonishing giving gratitude out of our soul. Thanksgiving amount to remembrance of how God Has been good to us in all things and we should never forget.

The Psalmist says, that our soul should give thanks with all that is within us; withholding nothing. Giving thanks to God means that we consider God in all we have and we are. God Has given to us everything we have. He puts us in charge and keep watching how faithful we would be in using them. Some have more talents, treasure and time than others. They are all benefits from God. The question, this morning is how do we use all the things that God Has benefitted us with?

Let us use God’s resources and benefits wisely. We would be accountable for the ways we use them one day. The benefits granted to us are not for us only. They are also for the benefits of the less advantaged. Holding on to God’s benefits is not pleasing to God. Spread it out to Glorify God and more benefits shall roll in. Even the “Sharks” (very rich entrepreneurs) spread their treasures ; in some ways to assist the smaller up coming entrepreneurs. Do something good with the benefits of God today. PRAISE GOD. AMEN.
