2 Timothy 1:12
"For the which cause I also suffer these things : nevertheless I am not ashamed : for I know I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto HIM against that day"
Paul the Apostle had assurance of his belief. He had burden for the gospel. He believed and was persuaded about the power behind the resurrection of our Lord Jesus: who had been appointed and ordained for the purpose of our divine assurance.
Be assured that there is a day and we are all enjoined to pay attention to such a day. A day of you alone with your maker. A day of all days that is sure to come. Commit all you are and you have into the One that is able to watch and keep your destiny.
Who is in charge? Jesus or you? If you are in charge; then commit it all to yourself, but if Jesus: the One that Has been chosen for us. Then consider Jesus. The One who sacrificed His life without reservation; then there is divine assurance ahead of you. You may suffer now in any form, but remember there is assurance for you to recover. Jesus, our example suffered in those things you suffer, still He came out stronger. You have divine assurance to come out stronger no matter what! It is a matter of time. God is in control.
