“FOR A SEASON”. Part 1 : Thursday April 24

1 Peter 1:6

"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:"

From the above bible passage, we can see that seasons come and seasons go away. May our seasons of joy and rejoicing overflow in Jesus Name. Amen. Negative seasons may come but joy cometh soon. Any seasons unpleasant may be long but would not last, before pleasant seasons roll in. God is the author of the seasons.

What are the sources of our heaviness in life? Trials, Persecutions and Temptations in different sizes and seasons. As Christians, let us know that it is possible for God to turn sufferings into all round victory. Peradventure, if trials will be long and persecutions persist and temptations prevails but there is a season of joy even from right here on earth to eternity. Amen.

Brethren, there is a season for everything. Know your season to be able to enter into it. As there are manifold temptations, there are also manifold seasons to match them. Be alert to your seasons and temptations. Hold on fast to that which is God’s undeniable season and you will be relieved of all the spirit of heaviness in Jesus Name. Amen.
