“FOR A POSSESSION” : Thursday January 25

Numbers 32:5

"Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan."

Let us remember that the Israelites’ freedom from Egyptian slavery entailed the crossing of the Red Sea and the ultimate possession of the promised land was also God’s idea. However, the people of Israel wanted God to use the power of Grace for them to by-pass river Jordan. In other words, they wanted to use grace to jump over the river. My goodness, those people knew how to move the hands and the heart of God. Do you know how?

According to the book of 1 Peter 5:10 – Our God is the Lord of all grace all the time. Since the Bible days, His grace had never been on how good or how bad the people were. His grace is unconditionally available. His grace is more powerful than all of our generational, foundational and an ancestral sins. At this point in time, may be the people had forgotten that it was by the grace of God that their bondage and slavery in Egypt was called to an end. The children of Israel lived through the four hundred and thirty years with the presence of God’s grace providing for all their needs up to the boarder of the promised land.

The request of the people of Israel was tied to grace of God, knowing fully well how much they had been walking in flesh with God. Brethren, it is time to give our lives to the power of Grace to do the right things all the time. It is Grace that makes a man to be upright with man/God. HE is watching over His word not to fall to the ground. Believe God for all He had promised to give for your possessions and it shall come to pass, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Lord, thank you for the possessions you have bestowed upon us and our family, in Jesus Name.

2) Father, thank you for your grace that is unconditionally available to us, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, let your power of Grace go ahead of me and family to enter into our possessions, in Jesus Name.

4) Almighty God, let your unfailing grace work for me and my family, in Jesus Name.

5) Lord, before this day, week, month and year end, let me and family enter into our possessions, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, manifest the power of grace in all my expectations, in Jesus Name.

7) Abba Father, let everything and anything representing river Jordan cease, so that my family and myself will possess our possessions, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
