”EVERLASTING LOVE” Part 1: Thursday February 27

Jeremiah 31:3

"The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee"

The love that is everlasting comes from God. Love is as old as the ancient of days and love has been from time Elohim. It was by divine love of God that we have grace to be drawn closer. God never runs out of love like we do. At the slightest provocation man can turn off love for any one. Whereas, the love of God is from everlasting to everlasting.

The Bible passage above confirms that the love of God is an everlasting one. His love does not fail, even when we fail Him. Everything that God Had ever done and doing and that He will ever do was and is love based. Ironically, God chastises us because He loves us and does not want us to perish. All the laws of God are because of His love for us. More over, where ever God is love is evident. Amen.

The Love of God for us overlooks our shortcomings over time; we get punished when we do not yield from the flesh God does not hate us, but hates our sinful nature. Love really matters to God and God really matters to the things of love. Yield and become more loved by God. Amen.
