Genesis 26:14
"For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him"
What we read in the above passage was a blessing and possession of an inheritance. The person under reference was Isaac the son of Abraham; who was also blessed after the order of his father. He got his possessions from the overflow of what God had promised Abraham his father. Brethren, may God bless you with possessions to the point of envy, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Isaac was blessed with possessions to the point of envy. The kind of possessions Isaac had was given during the second round of famine in the land. His possessions attracted neighboring people to the point of envy. The Philistines tried to destroy the possessions but they could not, because the giver is from above watching over the affairs of all men. They hindered Isaac great store of servants; and the more the possessions were on the increase. That could only be God. Amen.
The blessings of the Lord resulting into great possessions cannot be destroyed. They filled all the wells of Isaac’s possession with dirt and earth, but God never allowed Isaac to diminish. Isaac stood on the promises of God and he possessed his possessions, no matter how fierce the enemies may become, just stick with God and your inheritance will be sure, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the end of January, 2018 possessing my possessions, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for forgiveness of my trans-generational and trans- ancestral sins, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let me posses my possessions without delays, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, thank you for leading me to possessing my possession in the coming new month, in Jesus Mighty Name.
5) Lord, bless me and my family to the point of envy, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, as this month ends with peace, let me and family enter the new month with peace, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, thank you for keeping me and my family in your love till the end of ages, in Jesus Name. Amen.
