“DIVINE SUPPLY BY DIVINE COMMAND” – Part II

1 Kings 17:4, 5a & 6

"And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there"- So he went and did according unto the word of The Lord..........".And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening and he drank of the brook."

For every of our need there is always divine command in authority, power and wisdom to supply. God has lined up our supplies before our needs arose. Before the need of Prophet Elijah arose, God had designed how to supply them. The brook by Che-rith and the ravens had been in existence before the circumstances facing the prophet. The brook is still flowing after the draught; and the ravens are still flying!

The prophet followed God’s instruction in order to fulfill the plans God had in place. The brook and the ravens became the instruments of the prophets daily supernatural supply. Fresh bread and flesh were supplied daily based upon the prayer Jesus taught His followers in Matthew 7:11 “Give us this day our daily bread”.

What we will ever need have been in place. Do your little part. God Has plans for you and I. Be sensitive to His plans. This is the season that we all need to pause and take spiritual stock of those achievements God Have been able to allow us to make. Matthew 7:8 wants us to be specific in our prayers with God. It says “Be not ye therefore like unto them; for your Father knowing what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him”. If you want a job ask God specifically. God knows you need to play some role; relying and depending on HIM for the supply to be released.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the season of peace and love, in Jesus Name.

2) Lord, thank you for divine supply in your presence, in Jesus Name.

3) Father, thank you for your loving kindness that endures for ever in my life, in Jesus Name.

6) Lord, I pray that your grace unlimited become the source of my daily supply, in Jesus Name.
