Acts 17:31
"Because He hath appointed a day, in which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained ; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead."
The source of Divine Assurance is Jesus through God the Father. The theme Divine Assurance is linked with only what God can say and do and we can observe that the Bible passage is loaded with the details of Divine Assurance. If God said it, there is every reason for assurance; but if man said it, you cannot be sure.
We all easily remember significant days of life, birthday, wedding day, presidents’ day, memorial day, independence day, thanksgiving day, Christmas day, new year day, Valentine’s day etc, but we forget the assurance of the judgement day. There are so many Bible passages about this day of judgement, but will give only two instances 1) John 5:22 informs us that ” For the Father judgeth no man, but Hath committed all judgement unto the Son” 2) Romans 14:10b “For we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ”.
You can be the man/woman to be appointed. God Has given us Jesus and Jesus Has appointed and ordained us. God that raised Jesus for the world can raise you for your generation. It is an assurance to all men that Jesus is alive and He gets your back in all situations. The plans of God for you and I is a blessed assurance. Walk in it boldly throughout this month, this year and indeed for the rest of your life.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for giving me the gift of another new month, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for your grace of witnessing the the beginning of this new month, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let your power in divine assurance speak into every area of my life, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let the power behind resurrection assure for my eternity, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let me step into this new month with your perfect divine assurance, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, I look unto thy power for divine assurance, this very month, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, visit me with your blessed assurance this new month, in Jesus Name. Amen.
